Now in its eighteenth year, the Young Composers' Workshop is designed for composers who have completed basic studies in composition and would welcome the opportunity to work directly with a professional ensemble in the development of a new work. Portions of the workshop process have been filmed, documented, and uploaded to our website. Each Composer page features a short biography, video clip illustrating the workshop process, an audio sample of each composer's piece, pictures, and excerpts of notation.
